Charge via Balance Port Only

VIFLY ToothStor charges batteries via the standard balance lead only (JST-XH2.54 or BT3.0), that conveniently eliminating the need to connect the power lead like XT30, T-plugs, etc.

Storage Charger and Discharger

VIFLY ToothStor is a combination of 2S charger and discharger. It has 4 target voltages per cell (3.8V/3.85V/4.2V/4.35V), set your target voltage like 3.8V/cell (LiPo Storage Voltage), it will start the charging or discharging process automatically when the battery is lower or higher than 3.8V.

I bought a Goosky S1 Helicopter and use this charger to charge my batteries easily. Great product, did exactly what I need it to do. 10/10

pretty good

On a 12v/3A power source, mine charges 1 or 2 packs just fine. But if I put 3 packs on it, it gets them to about 4v, and then it shuts down, showing a gray screen. Maybe my pwr source isn't robust enough? Maybe it's the charger. I don't know. So, I've tried charging 3 packs 2 times so far. And when it happens, I have to remove the packs, toggle the pwr to the charger and finish charging 2 packs and then charge the 3rd pack by itself. I was charging 750mah packs at 1.1A. Doing HV charges to 4.35v/cell.

Update: Now works from the cigarette lighter

Updated review 2024/12/16, since my review Vifly support contacted me and apologised that they had missed my emails. They sent me an updated firmware 1.0.4 which fixes the use of the product when used from car cigarette lighter voltage. It now charges fine while driving, so i am really happy with it!

Original review: Bought this to charge while driving. Made a cigarette lighter to XT60 cable and tried it out, but when the engine is running the Toothstor thinks the 13.5v is a 4S lipo and stops charging. I contacted support (twice), but no response. I guess i will have to buy a separate USB-PD power supply to use it.

Toothstor design flaw/suggestions

I don't normally write these but people need to be aware of this. Support won't reply to me after a week....

If you accidently even brush beep/voltage button your voltage settings will change to higher voltage and probably ruin your battery at best or cause a fire. The screen is obviously small so not easy to spot you have done this.

The button should be programmed so you need to press and hold the voltage button in order to change the settings IMO.

Secondly, it would be nice if you can change the max charge voltage on a custom mode for those of us that never charge to 4.2v on lipos.

As a charger it works fine, but because of this button it needs a firmware fix and then I'd give it 5*.
